What "full scholarship" means: A full scholarship covers tuition + monthly stipend. Some also cover accommodation, flights, health insurance, and language courses. The total value can reach $30,000–$50,000 per year.
The KGSP is one of the most generous government scholarships available to Uzbek students. It covers tuition, round-trip airfare, monthly stipend (approximately $1,000 for undergrad, $1,000+ for grad), health insurance, settlement allowance, and one year of Korean language training before your program begins.
Eligibility: Under 25 for undergraduate, GPA 2.64+/4.0, not a Korean citizen. Uzbek students are eligible and have been winning this scholarship regularly.
Universities: You can choose from 56 designated Korean universities including Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei, Korea University, and Sungkyunkwan.

DAAD is Germany's largest scholarship organization and has a strong track record of funding students from Central Asia. The scholarship covers monthly stipend (~€934/month for Master's students), health insurance, travel subsidy, and German language courses.
Programs for Uzbek students: Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (for students planning to return and contribute to Uzbekistan's development), DAAD Scholarships for Foreign Students at German Universities.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree with strong GPA, language proficiency (German or English depending on program), 2+ years work experience for some programs.

MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) scholarships cover full tuition, round-trip airfare, monthly stipend (~¥117,000–143,000), and Japanese language training. The scholarship typically runs 5–7 years including language preparation.
Eligibility: Strong academic record, interest in Japan. Applications go through the Japanese Embassy in Tashkent.
Universities: You can study at top Japanese universities including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Tohoku, and others depending on your field.
Türkiye Burslari is arguably the most accessible full scholarship for Uzbek students due to cultural/linguistic proximity and strong bilateral relations. It covers tuition, accommodation, monthly stipend (₺1,000–1,800), health insurance, and round-trip airfare. Turkish language course is included.
Eligibility: Minimum GPA varies by level (2.5/4.0 for undergrad, 3.0/4.0 for grad). Online application at turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.

The Fulbright program is the most prestigious US government scholarship for international students. It covers tuition, room and board, health insurance, round-trip airfare, and monthly stipend. The Uzbek program is administered by the American Councils and USEF in Tashkent.
Eligibility: Uzbek citizen, bachelor's degree, strong English (TOEFL 79+ or IELTS 6.5+). The selection is competitive and based on academic merit, leadership potential, and plans to return to Uzbekistan after the program.
Key tip: The Fulbright application is essay-heavy. Your Statement of Grant Purpose needs to clearly connect your US study plans to your future contribution to Uzbekistan.
Chevening is the UK government's international scholarship program. It covers tuition at any UK university (including Oxford and Cambridge), return flights, monthly stipend, and visa fees. It's specifically for future leaders and requires demonstrating leadership potential and plans to return to your home country.
Eligibility: At least 2 years of work experience, bachelor's degree, IELTS 6.5+, Uzbek citizenship.
KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) — consistently ranked in the world's top 50 — offers its own scholarship separate from KGSP. Full tuition waiver + monthly stipend (~$350 Masters, $400 PhD) for students admitted to graduate research programs. Strong in STEM.
Hungary offers full scholarships to Uzbek students through the Stipendium Hungaricum program — covering tuition, dormitory, and monthly allowance. Programs are available at bachelor's, master's, and PhD levels in English or Hungarian. Less competitive than KGSP or DAAD but still a genuine full scholarship.
Several US universities offer substantial merit scholarships to international students based on academic achievement and test scores, not financial need. The University of Alabama, for instance, offers full tuition scholarships for students with 30+ ACT or 1360+ SAT. University of Iowa, Missouri, and Arizona State have similar programs.
